Who is Sapphie?
Sapphie is singer-songwriter and front-woman Zoe Fernanda Wilson.
Named Rolling Stone Español's “20 Artists And Songs You Should Know” for her single "Not Like The Movies", Zoe Fernanda spent her childhood performing alongside her dad Christopher Wilson (Guitarist) in NYC dive bars to Off-Broadway/tv and film. Her vocals can be heard on Netflix, award winning albums, cast recordings and an upcoming feature film, but it is Sapphie that is her most personal work. Rock NYC Live called this 23 year old's debut a "deeply arranged singer songwriter confessional" and of Zoe, "one of the most gifted artists you will see". Her much anticipated debut album Fairytale Pending follows several critically acclaimed tracks and is described as "genre defying" (Lyrical Odyssey) for its eclectic mix of folk/pop/rock/Americana. When speaking about her music, Zoe Fernanda calls it "honest and chaotic", and of the many assorted musical styles she adds, “Sapphie is not a genre…it’s a vibe!”
